Job Profile

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and control of earthmoving and equipment-based projects. This role focuses on coordinating equipment, operators, and site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordination

  • Support the Project Manager in the planning and execution of multiple earthmoving and infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure clear communication of priorities, issues, and project updates.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment between planning and site execution.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for client representatives and site teams.
  • Coordinate internally with operations, admin, workshop, HR, and finance.
  • Coordinate deployment of earthmoving equipment, and operators.


2. Operations & Equipment

  • Monitor fleet utilization and planning (active / idle / standby/breakdown).
  • Follow up on mobilization and demobilization of equipment in coordination with operations and logistics.
  • Track equipment performance and ensure timely follow-up of breakdowns with the workshop.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports for client approvals and internal records.

3. Reporting

Qualifications

  • Preferably a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in in earthmoving or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in coordinating site operations, equipment, and manpower is required.
  • Exposure to international projects or multi-stakeholder environments is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery capabilities and sequencing.
  • Familiarity with project management software, MS Office and Microsoft D365.
  • Familiarity with contract execution and recording of variations / additional works.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data.
  • Effective communication skills, both internally and with clients on site.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, site-based environments and manage multiple priorities
